HS Program Director

10 Month Position
Oversees talent, brand and operations of an assigned school age facility to ensure the Caliday mission, vision and values are upheld. Actively develops and maintains positive school/customer/community relations. Maintains high-capacity utilization and manages all resources effectively.

Essential Functions:
TALENT
• Proactively partners with Corporate Recruiter to Identify and hire the best talent
• Supports, coaches and develops Program team
• Ensures ratio requirements are met at all times
• Supports orientation and on-going training
• Promotes teamwork and enthusiasm; fosters commitment to Caliday mission, vision, and values—protect, educate, nurture
• Documents effectively; consistent use of company tools/processes
• Guides team members through credentialing process to support the achievement of program accreditation
BRAND
• Greets family members and school staff by name; presents a positive and professional image
• Ensures staff presents a professional image and uphold Caliday dress code
• Ensures exceptional customer service experiences, e.g., thorough, friendly tours; welcoming environment; accessible for parents, phone calls, etc.; concerns addressed within 24 hours
• Ensures school age facility is consistently clean, neat and organized and meets visual execution standards; recommends repair work as needed
• Supports and leads new company initiatives to ensure adaptation of new programs, policies and procedures
OPERATIONS
• Networks within the community and school population to recruit new families; follows-up with potentials and commits to achieving enrollment goals
• Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws, OCC regulations, and Caliday standards, policies and procedures
• Works 10 full shifts, opening and closing school age program on a daily basis
• Ensures quality curriculum execution
• Creates staff schedules; maintains accurate and complete employee and child files
• Completes all required paperwork and recordkeeping on a timely basis
• Demonstrates accountability and initiative; identifies opportunities/goals for the school age facility
• Understands payroll and budget control and remains within target; achieves enrollment goals
• Focuses on meeting State quality standards in order to achieve Program accreditation
• Seeks professional development opportunities; stays current on new practices in the childcare and education industry
• Maintains certification requirements regulated childcare licensing, credentialing and accreditation
Education/Experience:
High School diploma required, some college desirable
School Age Director Qualified
Experience in a childcare program desirable
Specific Skills:
Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office
Very strong customer service skills
Knowledge of OCC licensing requirements helpful
ADA Certificate
First Aid and CPR
Basic Health and Safety
Medication Administration
