The Quality Assurance Manager provides direct assistance and support to Celebree Schools as they navigate and execute the MSDE accreditation and EXCELS process to ensure quality education programs. The Quality Assurance Manager should maintain an awareness of current childcare education practices and trends. The Quality Assurance Manager will partner with school educators to identify achievement gaps and provide realistic suggestions to narrow these learning gaps. This position ensures that the Celebree environment delivers the promise to Protect, Educate, and Nurture as well as exceptional parent, child and team experience in a way that is a positive representation of the Celebree brand, vision, mission, and values. Additionally, school licensing oversight, guidance, and support will be expected in this role.
Qualifications:
This position requires knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within the childcare field. This position requires strong organizational and leadership skills, and excellent presentation skills. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures all schools have the necessary knowledge and understanding of MSDE EXCELS and the Accreditation processes
- Liaison between VP of Operations and District Directors to ensure program procedures and policies are in-line with accreditation standards.
- Support School management teams with training and developing a clear understanding of policies and requirements
- Ensures personal growth & development through self-education of new policies, practices, & trends
- Willingness to become well versed in licensing regulations of multiple states or municipalities
- Provides licensing support and guidance to District Directors and School Managers
- Actively participates in and contributes to Company meetings
- Provides staff with feedback to increase and improve likelihood of closing learning gap, MSDE accreditation and increased EXCELS levels through quality program implementation.
- Promotes teamwork and enthusiasm; fosters commitment to Celebree mission, vision, and values
- Oversees execution of state approved accreditation process; consistently providing new & better techniques & practices in and across all Celebree Schools
- Provides list of resources needed to create a consistent physical learning environments that meet CLASS and Accreditation standards
- Identifies resources needed to open new locations within accreditation requirements
- Coordinates the ordering and delivery of supplies for new locations or to refurbish existing locations
- Performs all tasks/projects within determined budget
- Creates a culture of excellence and consistency that is focused on flawless execution
- Demonstrates accountability and initiative; identifies opportunities/goals for the company
- Managing and adhering to state regulatory mandates
- Active in the pursuit of MSDE or NAEYC accreditation across all programs
- Partners in all aspects of preparing a new location for operation
- Stays current on new practices in the childcare and education industries
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Must be Director qualified with a minimum of 2 years “in-School” management experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in ECE or related field
- Training/ formal group presentation experience preferred
Job Specific Skills:
- Computer skills, preferably Microsoft Office
- Bi-weekly program visits
- Skill set must include, but is not limited to: conflict resolution, exceptional communication, multi-tasking, initiative, flexibility, global vision, and strategic thinking
- Comprehensive knowledge of licensing requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business
